Soooo you got a new President...

Well @Rick Cox after the demoralizing 8 years with that socialist piece of trash weasel Obama. Ya pretty hard to be prideful when our nation was the laughing stock of the world.
Aint that the truth?!?!?! But we are feeling much better now thank you! Go Trump!!

The liberals in this country have not learned their lesson. For the past several years, their tactic has been to attack and belittle anyone with an opinion different than theirs. Labeling conservatives as 'rascists, fascists, bigots, ignorant, uneducated, unenlightened, etc' is what got Trump elected. He is also the antithesis of being politically correct, which is what won him the primary IMO. Despite the outcome of the election, the opposition has continued their derogatory rhetoric, rioting, and protesting. Fine by me. If they keep alienating people who disagree with them, hopefully the next election cycle will go just as well.

A friend sent this to me this morning. I loved it so much I had to share.
One sunny day in January, 2017, an old man approaches the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue where he’d been sitting on a park bench. He speaks to the U.S. Marine standing guard and says, “I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.” The Marine looks at the man and says, “Sir, Mr. Obama is no longer president and no longer resides here.” The old man says, “Okay,” and walks away.

The following day the same man approaches the White House and says to the same Marine, “I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.” The Marine again tells the man, “Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Obama is no longer president and no longer resides here.” The man thanks him and again walks away.

On the third day, the same man approaches the White House and speaks to the very same U.S. Marine, saying, “I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.” The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looks at the man and says, “Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I’ve told you already that Mr. Obama is no longer the president and no longer resides here. Don’t you understand?”

The old man looks at the Marine and says,“Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it.” The Marine snaps to attention, salutes, and says, “See you tomorrow, Sir!”

I thought this was pretty impressive, he didn't even run on fitness!

The results weren't quite the "Coast vs FlyOver" that the media purports. a review of county by county shows that in the states won by Clinton the counties that voted for her were particularly metropolitan area. Virtually the entire state of Washington minus Seattle Metro area voted for Trump. Oregon had similar results with the counties outside of Portland and Eugene voting for Trump. Similarly, Northern California, Upstate New York and non-state university towns voted for Trump. Previous elections have followed similar patterns: big cities voting for the Democrat, smaller population areas voting Republican. the difference this election is the result of Democrats being in charge of the welfare/dependence system for fifty years and the resulting crumbling of the inner cities. Those residents that previously were strong supporters of Democrats either didn't vote for the Democrat, voted against the Democrat or didn't vote at all. those cities such as Chicago that had large numbers of Democrat votes are also the ones with corrupt elections.

For years the country has been operated on a basis of the large industrial cities dictating policy. With the collapse of industry and the realization by the unemployed factory worker of how it happened, those that caused it (the Demonrats) are now paying the price. Unfortunately, there are a lot of social activists whose primary interests involve "issues" are unwilling to make the break between their issues and the Democrat party.

Minneaopolis and StPaul went for Hildeskank and the rest of the State went Trump

@gizmo : I think it's cool you and I live in different dimensions yet we can still converse. In the dimension I live in, President Obama commands respect as a highly intelligent, articulate, charismatic, visionary leader. If not for the stonewalling of the self serving Republicans, ( at the expense of the American people) he would have been able to leave a much greater legacy, the greatest fear of the GOP.
As to 'laughing stock of the world', in my dimension, that is what we are now. The world is generally going " Say what?? Trump? Seriously?"
Anyway, glad things are working for you in your dimension, and you are happy.

I grew up in southern MN farm country. Mostly conservatives back then. Big cities like Minneapolis have become liberal cesspools, and that is a shame.

I have lived in Tucson for over 40 years. Tucson voted majority Hillary, but Trump took Arizona majority

@Rick Cox i certainly feel that conversing over differences of opinions is a good thing and you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
In my and the vast mojarity of the electorates of the good ol' US of A's opinion Obama was and is a disgrace to the American people and our forefathers who fought and died for individual freedoms. Obama was the worst president in our history. Further his idiotic policies and hatred personally effected me on a daily basis for the entire 8 years of his presidency. I will never forgive him for what he did to all of my brothers and sisters who have spent years of service defending society against the worst evils it has to offer.
Every officer who has been killed is a direct result of his race baiting and hatred. Tell the families of the officers in Dallas's family's who were killed. Same goes for those in Louisiana and all of the others. It is absolutely a direct result of his anti police sentiment and race baiting. I know, I lived it for 14 years.
So if you feel that he's some type of visionary savior great for you. Those of us who have had to deal with the consequences of his ignorance and hatred won't share your glee.
As far as the world is concerned, they aren't laughing. They are scared, the know we have a president that won't tolerate the bullshit anymore. Further, despite the liberal medias bullshit smoke and mirrors the rest of the world is following suite. Italy's deporting immigrants by the droves. France's leftist pres is about to get ousted and the Germans are in the same boat. England started the revolt against the left with the Brexit vote and their separation from the EU.
What's sad is that the leftist, socialist, idiots of the world don't get it. They want to blame everything on anything but themselves, they are the ones who have set people back for generations. The democrats of this country are the worst of the whole lot. They have been resoundly defeated for now. Unfortunately evil doesn't go away and we all have a huge fight ahead. I just pray that the good people of this country prevail.

@gizmo I do not understand your position here:

Please explain your position. But if you don't mind, try to remain objective.

Gizmo, just smile and wave my friend. Nothing you say or try to to explain will make a difference. He wants you to remain objective, but he's using that term as bait, and not being objective himself. If he were ,then you wouldn't have to explain your last post. Guessing most who read it, get it.

It's a pretty simple concept, (and btw I meant the officers during his term) from day one he has done nothing but race bait and spread anti police sentiment. The first example would be with the Harvard teacher who acted like a fool with local police. That incident was the first in a long line of incidents were he publicly reprimanded law enforcement for doing their job. It ends with he and Michelle publicly accepting and supporting the home terrorist organization Black Lives Matter, which is absolutely a hate group. Michelle went public and said that the filth Jay Z and Beyoncé were the greatest role models for her children and American children. The same Beyoncé who did a tribute to the black panthers at the Super Bowl last year on public TV. It's no secret what the Panthers are all about. Further it's the same outspoken racist and anti police Jay Z. At ever opportunity to unite the nation he chose division and hate. Through executive order he further tied the hands of police. During the entire incident in Missouri what did he do? He criticized police and further divided a community and the nation. He turned an American city into a war zone. All because a criminal who had just robbed a store violently assaulted an officer, severely beating the officer, and was killed by that officer to save his own life. Yet Obama and his cronies criticized him and further belittled the police. Went on national tv and told the nation how wrong the police were for trying to bring a criminal to justice and try maintain order in a city falling apart at the seams. Oh yes, he is responsible for the killings of police. He has that blood on his hands.

Well i voted for that guy from New Mexico. As for Trump and Clinton if I was running a puppy mill I would'nt want a litter from either one of them.

Hey Rick Cox,

I'm a retired Police Officer (28 years of service) and I agree with Gizmo.
In other words, I too believe that your lord and savior, Barry Obama, is a cop hater.
Furthermore, I believe Barry's wife is a racist.
Not too much of a stretch to suspect that, crazy cop hater racists went homicidal and shot up several Police Officers, after such implied blessings issued directly from the White House.
Furthermore, these things are part of the reason that The American Socialist Party (AKA: Democrat Party) lost to The American Capitalist Party (AKA, Republican Party).
That objective enough for you?

Regards,
Velo Dog.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.

Have twice tried to post something that your site canned as "SPAM" or some problem.. "Contact the Administrator"... Not sure why even the "Contact" button would not send my comment so you only received my query but not the content in question. I'll see if I can get it to you this way... NOPE I use a VPN and perhaps that is causing me grief...
