SOUTH AFRICA: 50 With GAME 4 AFRICA SAFARIS In 2022

@Firebird, where did you hunt your bushbuck? I took mine at Mountain Top, and those mountains really kicked my rear end. I can still remember Wik pointing across the canyon telling me there he is. I tested Wik's patience that day, and for the life of me, I couldn't see the little rascal hiding. When he moved, I had him. This was my best hunt, and the most demanding one. I can't wait to get back. :)

We were on mtn top but lots of country and I can’t say which part-the thick part?! My kudu was near the top so not horrible and we had driven down a narrow little two track and were in the bottom of the canyons when I killed the bushbuck, so we hiked up a short distance to get him.
To be fair the mtns we hunt in here at home are much higher in elevation and more rugged to hunt. That part of S Africa is very pleasant in comparison to our deer and elk country

But, when you are from flat land Georgia, any elevation feels like Mt Everest to us. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I doubt you are interested in any trades but I was getting ready to list a Sauer 404 3 barrel set in the 10-12 price range if your interested. It has the 404J, 30-06 and 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. Only the 30-06 had been shot and it has 7 rounds through it as I was working on breaking the barrel in. It also has both the synthetic thumbhole stock and somewhere between grade 3-5 non thumbhole stock

Hello there. I’ve been wanting to introduce myself personally & chat with you about hunting Nilgai. Give me a call sometime…
