Does anyone have any experience with or either or one of the above. it’s strange both websites are the same, except the names?
Both sites have little information?

If it is the same Motshwere as the one in the videos embedded in the following thread I would avoid at all costs.

You should stop scratching for the cheapest safaris around and book with a sponsor here who will provide you with a proper safari at very good rates irrespective of what you want to hunt.....

@IvW is spot on. There are some really tremendous offers to be found from reputable, first class outfits here on this site. (shameless plug: @GAME 4 AFRICA SAFARIS)

Turn and run from Motshwere. A modicum of research would/will tell you that there are far, far better options.

Run

Tyre kicker......

Best of wishes on your searches. There really are some incredible outfitters that are sponsors here.

I have experience with them. a very bad experience. Search for a thread i started regarding my experience back in 2015.
We also had a bad experience with Motshwere. I tried to explain but this site won't let me elaborate.

My husband bought a hunt from Motshwere. We were told that the cost totally covered dip and pack. The salesman raved about what a great deal our trip was because dip and pack could be so expensive. Our price would include all the dip and pack and it was an amazing deal. Total was about $8,000. (Airfare was another $4000.) When I pressed the salesman for the cost of getting the animals back to the US I was told it was minimal. Everything but the freight was covered.

Well, after the hunt was complete we were all brought as a group into a dining area and told couple by couple what the charge would be for our "crate." I was under the impression that dip and pack covered the crate or packing??? It was our first time for safari and not wanting to make a scene with all of your group watching we just paid it. Then we received the charge to ship the "crate" to the USA. Almost $2000. Now, the crate has arrived in Denver and we were told we owe another $1500 to receive it here in the US.That being said we have now spend $4024 just to get the Sable, Kudu and one zebra pelt home. The assurance given when purchasing the hunt is deceiving. It does NOT cover any of the inspections, processing, handling, crating, packing, screening, and the list goes on and on. Just want anyone considering Motshwere for a hunt to know that you will be charged several thousand to get those trophys/heads/hides home. And just to be clear these charges did not include any taxidermy work. Now the cost for this trip has hit around $16,000. And I get it, many are happy and willing to pay it. I just think you should have the facts up front.

If I’m reading your post correctly through the quotes there were a lot of charges you were unprepared for. It’s unfortunate how the hunt was sold to you if that’s completely truthful, but those charges are unfortunately very standard. I’ve never heard of an outfitter covering dip and pack without an additional stated dip and pack fee, but usually in South Africa it’s handled directly by taxidermy. No outfitter will cover shipping. That’s always handled by a third party. $2000 is unfortunately a normal shipping anymore. Clearing charges after it hits port of entry in US is another additional charge. Honestly $1500 isn’t bad sometimes with storage fees and the wrong broker it can be considerably more. I’m not defending the outfitter, but there was a lot of outside research you could have done before the hunt. Getting trophies home is discussed here frequently. It has unfortunately gotten very expensive since 2020.

Sorry you had a bad trip, my son and I were there in May of 2024, had an amazing time! the food was great, the PH was really great, the others that were at the camp while we were there also had great things to say about the camp and the wildlife, one of the guests there had been to different outfitters on five different trip, and he told us that that trip was the best he had, and the Cap Buffalo was the biggest he had taken on all of his trips. Our PH put us in front of some great animals every day and would only allow us to take the shot when he felt the animal was of a high grade caliber to get mounted, as this was what we requested.
We did have them do the taxidermy as well as arrange the shipping (which we haven't received yet) but what they showed us in the showroom was very well done.
Cost was what I felt was reasonable, as I priced out the taxidermy prior to heading to Africa so there was no surprise.
Here is the Kudu my son took! the guide passed up a few others early in the morning, and we hunted this one the whole day until we had the shot to take this one.
Sorry you trip didn't work out, but we will be heading back next year for cape buffalo and a sable, we saw some wonderful ones while we were there.

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
