SOUTH AFRICA: Hunting South Africa With Frontier Safaris

Philip congratz on a couple of great locations to hunt and taking a group on their first safari is very rewarding. Good job! have really enjoyed reading about both SA and Namibia parts of the trip.
Thanks Dave! It was great to take new folks over there.

great report and thanks for sharing. congrats on another successful hunt.

Awesome buffalo! I am hunting with the Burchell's at Frontier next May on my first safari. Very Excited!
You'll LOVE it there. I hunted with Philip Glass's PG group in June 2022 on MY first Safari. Owner Barry Burchell and his staff are top notch and GREAT people! I didn't know they had buffalo there though. Hmmm...?

@Philip Glass, well done hunt and video. You are a great man taking groups to Africa and sharing your love of a great continent.
It has been a joy for me to take folks on their first safari and some on their first DG safari as well. I like to see others have a successful hunt.

Yes they have a self sustaining herd of original EC genetics there on their 75,000+acre ranch. It is quite a challenging hunt and unique in many respects.

Great video Philip! I really miss Frontier and all the loose rocks. LOL Seriously though, a fantastic place to hunt! Kinda like hunting elk here in lower mountains. Owner Barry Burchell and his family/staff are great people. Your tracker on the buffalo hunt looked very familiar to me. Was he Mzonke? Congrats on taking your buffalo with your DR!

Thanks Mark! My wife does not miss those rocks. Yes that is Mzonke. He was a very good tracker and was the one who found the last day buffalo for my friend Brandon who is seen on the video.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
