SOUTH AFRICA: My First African Safari With Game 4 Africa Safaris

An excellent hunt and report. I totally agree with your comment about the cost of an Elk hunt and hunting Africa being about equal. That is what got me to switch to a 10 day six animal hunt last August.

Looks like you had a grand adventure. Congrats sir!

Bumping a old thread I started a year ago after my first safari. I recently received my taxidermy and thought I would share some pics. I decided to get a Kudu and Nyala shoulder mount done in South Africa. Turnaround time was a little over a year.

I have remained in contact with Wik from Game 4 Africa safaris and love watching the Facebook photos from all their great hunts. I enjoy talking to perspective clients and get to live vicariously through them when they visit.

Byron, awesome looking trophies! My daughter Elise will be hunting with Wik and @Game 4 Africa Safaris in a few days.

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
