SOUTH AFRICA: Two Weeks With Multana Safaris

For those who have an interest in this, after a month of drying here are the figures from the trophies I took:

I’ll also try to get the bullets I recovered weighed and photographed for the bullet performance database.

Did you have measurements before drying to compared to after drying?

No I did not write them down in all the excitement… so I don’t know what % it impacts.

Hehe, looks like the travelling part will be on hold for a while… we just found out last week she is pregnant :) so honeymoon/hunt will not be feasible for a little while

Proficiaat, you did come back to Belgium as a true man after your hunt just saying. :A No1:

I enjoyed your report. That Kudu is a fine trophy. Congrats

Vertigo, I'm impressed how quickly the taxidemist is getting along.

Multana safaris, actually has a small taxidermy operation going on at his location. I have seen the mounts they have done in the past, and looked reasonably okay to me

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
