How do you feel about hunting lion under a fence? At that price and from what he shows from the picture ( nice lion) this hunt warrants serious consideration. This outfitter has been in business many years. He has excellent prices, I would not hesitate to hunt with him. What you see is what you get...an honest outfitter
Good points. I certainly can't afford the 40 -60k I ve seen for these hunts. I am hoping will will continue to be able to import lions or at least lions killed under a fence. I was planning to to this hunt in a few years.Well, I think hunting lion with a high fence is appropriate for that cost. A free range would cost significantly more! And yes there are more expensive lion hunts out there. Is it worth the money? Very subjective question, I think for this price, I would go and give it a try. You can hunt on foot.
I have a certain number in my head, if the price is right and time frame works for me it is to do hunt. At this price, you have to compare all other lion hunts to that price. Johan says the lions are roaming around on the property before hand. From watching over the years, this hunt is one of the most affordable lion hunts in RSA. If you want to look at other hunts, great...but ask the question is worth the extra money. This is an honest outfitter.
And remember we are in the final days of lion hunting, the window is closing to USA hunters at least.
Yes we still offer lion at this price. Is this hunt still offered? I went to your website and tried to give you my email address for more info.
If I understand correctly the lion has only been on this property for 6 months does this mean it was raised and then released onto the property? If this is so I am sorry this is not fair chase hunting . A lion or a pride of lion on 5000 acres would not survive for long before the plains game species that they prey on would be unable to sustain the lions need for prey species . It stands to reason that 5000acres cannot sustain lion in their natural habitat.if my assumptions are correct it is no wonder that the anti hunters are winning the battle against fair chase hunting.[/
Just so you know anti's don't like any hunting at all. That maybe big news to you but a fact. Why we lose to them is because of post like yours that judge other hunters by how or what they hunt. If you don't like it don't do it but don't tell me I am wrong for doing something that is legal to do.
Am I missing something or is this a really low price? I know it's under a fence and that can raise some serious concerns for a lot of hunters including myself. Specifically when it comes to lion. How do other members feel about this? And has anyone done this type of hunt for lion?
