Great package! Please can you provide some more information on the acreage to be hunted? Fenced or free range? Contiguous or multiple properties?

Hi! The package is reasonably priced. Could you introduce the hunting area?

Thank you for your interest. We hunt a total area of 320,000 acres in the Eastern Cape.

I’ll limit my description to the area where we hunt the majority of our spiral slam species.

Our main lodge Karoo Wild Lodge is on our 11,000 contiguous acres boundary high fenced property. We hunt good kudu, nyala and eland here under strict self - imposed quota limits. . We also hunt two adjacent low fenced properties adjoining each other of 18.000 and 11,000 contiguous acres for kudu.

We hunt a nearby reserve of 33,000 acre high fenced that has a large eland population as well as kudu, nyala, other plains game and buffalo, rhino and elephant. We operate a satellite lodge here. Typically we’ll hunt the majority of our eland here.

Bushbuck we hunt on a variety of properties, all low fenced. The largest is a conservancy of cattle farms totalling 40,000 contiguous acres.

To summarize, kudu and bushbuck can be hunted on low fenced properties. We hunt the majority of our yearly quota here. Eland and nyala hunting is limited to large high fenced properties.

Our area has a huge variety of terrain from mountains to bushveld savannah, river thicket and open plains. The hunting is challenging. We are privileged to hunt a lot of area which allows us a high level of success and good trophy quality.

Please feel free to ask any other questions.

Still the best value on Africa Hunting from an exceptional Outfitter in my humble opinion. Victor Watson provides a top notch Safari experience.

Thank you for the kind words Caesar. The 2024 season has been a prolific one with many fine spiral species taken. I'll post some pics of the trophies hunted this year.

Our pricing unfortunately has had to go up, inflation has bitten us even here in Africa. But I believe this package still offers exceptional value considering the quality of trophies we hunt, the beautiful environment in which we live and hunt and the personal service we all at KWS give our clients. Happy to let AH members hunt two management animals free of charge (species of our choosing) during or at the completion of the hunt for the spirals.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.
