Well now your definitely stuck with me this spring.

Erik, no consolation but picture this. Load and ship 800 rounds of ammo three months in advance for an upcoming Texas prairie dog hunt. Airline tix bought six months in advance, car and hotel reservations made. Got a buddy (Doc, that was with me at your place) all juiced up going with me for the hunt. I'm up at 4:30 to catch an early flight out of Philly. Gun case and bags in the car, boarding pass printed, just waiting for the wife to get ready to take us to the airport. Sitting on the couch, 5:00 a.m., I get a call from another buddy with which I did this trip previously and hadn't heard from in a couple years. Says the outfitter has been unable to contact me and to inform me he got thrown off his lease two days before and the hunt is now cancelled. Oh well, like Forrest said, Shit Happens. A year later, I went down there with AH member markm, hunted with the same outfitter on another lease and burned up that ammo. Had a great time.

Well it’s been a whirl wind of changes over the last couple weeks. On again, off again, and now on again but with a different cast. My head has been spinning.
So we are now leaving for Brazil now next week and this time @Royal27 is coming with me and taking my dad’s spot.
It will be Royal’s first trip and my 2nd but first with fly tackle.

Coincidentally I'm planning to go hunt the Rocking G in 9.5 weeks. Any AH member is welcome to join me at no charge for the 1st annual "see it and shoot it" Rocking G Extravaganza!
