If he won't, Kevin Weaver at Weaver Rifles in Colorado has a reamer. He built my 9.3-375 Ruger. He will make dies as well.@mooze Would you be willing to sell or rent that reamer?

Kevin has built 4 rifles for me and did work on a couple of others. I would not hesitate to use him again at all. He will stand behind his work. You are going to gain significant fps over the 9.3 x 62. Look at the data for a 375 Ruger with 260 grain Accubond and that is about what you will get for a 250 grain 9.3 in the 375 case but better BC & SD.@450 Dakota I looked them up and sent them a email. My question is how do you rate the work they did for you. and what are you seeing as performance vs a 9.3x62?
In the 1920s, DWM offered the 9,3x70, a necked down .404 Rimless. (DWM 569)
Rifles are still available from Reimer Johannsen, Germany.
Lee offers the die set....cases easily can be formed from .404

The B&M cartridge folks also do a 9.3 on a shortened 300 RUM that fits into a short action with it's ballistics just above a 9.3x62 but just under a x64 if my memory serves me.
I keep coming back to the 375ruger to 9.3 as a very possible idea
SpooksarI believe that I’m getting about 2700fps with a 250 grain Accubonds out of the 9.3/300 WSM
MilehighshooterThe 9.3x338 has been done before. Ive seen it on other forums. In all honesty most every wild cat idea, has likely been done.
MilehighshooterOr change a base to shoulder length variation, like Ackley Improved vs Brown-Whelen vs Hawk.
I think the same way. Only difference is I like geriatric oddballs. Doesn't trip my trigger unless it is over 100 years old. Extremely satisfying to resurrect them from the grave. What's the fun in just going with easily available stuff?? I love my oddballs (and my commons)
