Suppressed Shotguns

In another life time I shot over 500 rds. of shotguns shells a day. That was the norm. in my wildest imagination I cannot imagine shooting sporting clays, live pigeon, driven birds or most field hunting of game with a suppressed shotgun. Maybe trap? Did I use ear protection yes, either custom electronic in the ear. or electronic muff. Did I feel handicapped using them? No more than my hat that kept the sun out of my eyes! Of course it might help with your follow thru.

I was at an event in which we were testing integrally surpressed 12s. It was quite a bit if fun doing some trap and a sporting clays course. I didn't feel hindered at all, just needed to get adjusted to the particular model I used. I am typically an o/u guy, but that surpressed 12 was neat. Can certainly see the value in a slug gun only jurisdiction to not give any nearby antis something to complain about.

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!
