I have two synthetic stocks I am looking to get rid of. Part of a box labeled gun parts from my late grandfather. Don’t know what project they were intended for. Please help identify so I can list on classified sections or offer trades/ purchase here.

I am leaning towards REM 700 action. One has Bell and Carlson on butt pad other simply reads “Supreme”.

Any help would be appreciate.

Those look really nice. Bell & Carlson makes excellent stocks.

They are not Remington 700s.
The front action screw goes through the recoil lug like a Winchester Model 70, but the left sides both have a 90-degree cutout for a Mauser-style bolt release.

Can you measure the distance between the action screw openings? That might help narrow it down.

Someone more knowledgeable than I am will have to chime in to say what action meets all those criteria.

Thanks for the information. I measured and Center of hole to center of hole was 7 3/4”. It was wider than my digital caliper so I just had to eye it with tape measure.

I believe the common hole spacing for an intermediate Mauser action is 7.620 inches and a standard action is 7.835 inches. I'd say they are definitely for some type of Mauser action. I'll place a link below to a site that shows the differences between a lot of the different Mausers.

A model 70 does not have an action screw that goes into the recoil lug, it goes into the flat part of the receiver behind the recoil lug.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
