Taxidermist in Utah/Nevada/Arizona

Hi all,

My wife and I are going to South Africa this coming June and will need a taxidermist (with any luck!). We are looking for a taxidermist in the Southern Utah area, but certainly can expand the geographical area to Southern Nevada (Vegas), Northern Utah, or Northern/Central Arizona.

If Phoenix isn’t too far, I’m told these guys do a good job. Emphasis on that’s what I’ve been told, I’ve not used them.

If you don't mind driving to Tucson there is a fantastic shop on the west end of town.

Weller's Wildlife Studio, I was just down there the first of February picking up my coues deer and he had half a dozen elk and a couple of brown bears that they were doing for a hunter from Australia. They did a fantastic job on my coues and the rest of the work that I saw in their shop was top notch.

It occurs to me the Sportsmans Expo in Salt Lake City is on March 14-17 and they will be hosting the Western Regional Taxidermists competion during the expo. This will attract some good taxidermists and give you an opportunity to see lots of good work as well as checking out the expo exhibits.-If you had time to swing it, maybe a good chance to arrange to meet some of the names I gave you-just a thought
