Taxidermist recommendations in South Africa

another thumbs up for Swift dip. I have used swift dip for my most recent safari--great communications and waiting on Dennis to communicate he is ready to start...

DO you have a good African taxidermist in your area? (Ie, within a day's drive?)

If so, get them sent home and mount them there. Simply too much variation in African work in my opinion.

I see this an old thread that has been revived. My two cents ( probably one cent) is to bring them home period. I realize by now your hunt is over and I am curious as to what your decision was.

Yes, bring them home. If something goes wrong, you have a fighting chance to get them fixed. Fat chance if you deal with Highveld Taxidermist. Their solution to their sh*tty work was for me to ship the mounts to them and pay the shipping & return.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
