The Birth Of Wild Africa Decals

Scott these Big Five are Awesome!

hell yeah they look shit hot bloke

Ok Scotty got a big one for you. Using your africa outline w/WildAfricaDecals.com logo I don't know how small you can shrink these down but do a big five with maybe some plains game in the center decal and let me know what the cost would be I'll do some Advertising for you. :thumb:

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the comments. bluey & spikeT, I have tried several different ways to do the Sable (Euro mount style) I have not been happy with any of the designs. That got me thinking about the Big five animals, and lets face it, Euro mount decals would not have worked. I think this is going to be the path of WildAfricaDecals, doing the skin on animals. It's a lot more work, but they turn out so much nicer.

Again, I thank you guys for your feedback.

Bobby, I think the machine is maxed out on how small I can go with these things. The "minimum" I could go (with the logo and the 5) would be around 24 inches. As far as cost, I think we could work something out my friend.

that's no worries there 35
how about the nyala has that been tried or maybe a big waterbuck
them big 5 with the skin on are pretty impressive but mate
high five on the outcome

The Sable with the horns sweeping back didn't work for me, nor did the 1/4 angle because then eye sockets just looked weird to me (after the decal was cut) so i am going to work one up "skin on". Nyala should not be a problem, being the horns don't sweep back.

bluey, I like the way the 5 turned out, I am going to do the Nyala (Euro) but I think I am going to concentrate on the skin on patterns, I think a skin on Gemsbok will look kick ass.

im bloody sure it will

I think the skin on the animals makes it look more life like and will lead to more sales! I'd like to see what you could do with a bushbuck, waterbuck, sable, oryx and kudu.

I'm really proud of you...good work!

Thank you.

I am also anxious to see what I can do with bushbuck, waterbuck, sable, oryx and kudu. I will post them as I keep making them. I'll push the machine to it's limit....:user:

Scott they look great, thinking about it i can see the problem with the sable. i wouldnt give up on the euro mounts as some will prefer them or want both, and all sales are good sales.:beer:

No, I love the Euro mount decals, I am not giving up on them. Just that I may duplicate some of the Euro mount decals but with "Skin On" i.e. Gemsbok, Kudu, etc.. Like I said before I will keep posting, and again, thanks for the comments gents. Scott.

Scott is that 24x24 if so let me messure my window that may be to tall and we'll have to come up with something different. Bob

Newly added, Eland, Nyala, Zebra (which the wife wanted on her car) and the infamous Sable.

Since a sable is mostly black and white, that works out well!

You have no idea brother what a pain in the ass that one was...:bonk:

This (Sable decal) is the one I fell in love with, I have probably 6 designs I "HATED!!!" Simple damn animal, but just hard to do. Anyway, happy with the end result.

There looking great, your getting quite a line of decals going there Scott. :thumb:

Thanks Bob, I just saw your previous post, and yes, it would be right at 2 ft. by 2 ft.. I could, instead the WildAfricaDecals logo with one animal surrounded by the logo.?.?.? Thoughts???

Hey Scott see if you can do up a picture to give me a visual so I have an idea of what it would look like. Also had another idea, how about an Impala center Blesbok looking left and a Springbok looking right all fanning out from one shoulder, that way you could keep the animal size down to a minimum but with all three it would be a normal size decal place that in the lower center of your African logo, the noses may stick out a little but I think that would look ok.

Downfall is that the smaller I go, the more detail they lose. Bobby, could you work up a sketch (good or bad, I don't care) just want an idea of whats in your head. What's in mine may not be what you are thinking.
