To hunt Hippo or not?

Ok call me crazy. My wife does all the time....My initial hunt was buffalo and plains game. For some reason hippo jumped into mind. If I can't have the mount I really want due to the damn budget.. I am going to concentrate on the 6 day's to find a good buff. If lady luck smiles on us and it happens in 2/3 days great I ll use that time to hunt Val, klippy and the other PG I desire. Final decision......I know you watching Marius. There we go. I m comfortable with this.

Don't start please..lol I leave August 18th. 6 days in Limpopo then Marius and I fly back to the cape.

I wish!! You know when you go to a restaurant and the first dish you choose you don't order?? You order something else and say I should have ordered what I first wanted.....This is kinda the same except there's that stinkin budget versus desires.... My initial hunt was buff/PG. I think I gotta stick with that. Damn tiny ten are starting to peak my interest...NOT GOOD.

I don't think you can go wrong. Whatever choice you make will leave you wanting to do the other on your next trip. It's really just a matter of which order you do them in

I also have learned from personal experience that Marius really likes it when a client keeps changing their mind and vacillates right up to the last possible moment, and then changes everything again. So I would keep lobbing out new ideas to make him happy..

Johnny, a Hippo on land would be an exciting hunt. Buff/Hippo well they go together. Plan the plains game for another day as there will always be options for them. I wish I was going Buff/Hippo hunting

I'm hunting with Marius in July for Buff/Sable but originally opted for Buff/Hippo and changed my mind
