Not necessarily how you will vote, but what you predict will happen.

My prediction is Harris wins. Democrats hold the Senate. Republicans hold the house.

I think it’s a toss up on the house and the White House… but pretty certain that the senate will turn red.

It is not a toss up on the WH. The last two elections have seen polls with Trump down 3-6% on average. With this bias baked in Trump wins easily if our voters show up on Election Day as is typical. The house and senate will be close as usual but should have Republican majorities. It matters not if they don't have a spine and want to go to work in January.
We desperately need to drain the swamp and reform the ESA for the sake of our hunting trophy imports.

Agreed..... It's going to be a long day

I believe it will be red across the board.

And if that happens, there will be blood in the streets. Not good news for those living in the DMV area.

EDIT - DMV is short for the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.

Elon Mush said it best - "The best judgement of a Trump presidency, would be marked by a decrease in home values in the greater DC area."

BeeMaa, unfortunately, you are correct just as we all know whatever the Democrats are protesting and blaming on the right is what they are doing. So with that, they will be denying the results of the election for four years. So that justifies rioting, protesting, impeachment and worse. Either way it’s going to be an ugly four years.

Trump wins, Republicans take senate and hose stays the same.

If this does happen I hope the republicans in both houses actually help Trump instead of hindering him like they did when they had both houses in his first term for two years.

I believe you’re wrong on the senate, the math just doesn’t work out for the democrats, unless something outlandish happens like Cruz AND Scott lose.

I have zero idea of what is going to happen.

I went to bed back in 2016 with Hillary in the lead and work up with Trump winning.

As much as I would of hated to seen Hillary win I hate it even more even thinking about Harris in the White House.

The republicans will take the senate - the question is by how many seats.

The house will likely go the way of the presidency. It is far more tightly bound to the coattails of the winner.

I have no idea on the presidency. Early mail-in and early voting in the swing states is far better for republicans than the last two cycles. The question is if that represents new voters or is the republican party merely eating into its eventual total earlier. We will not know until the polls close.

The polls did underestimate republican votes in the last two presidential cycles by around 4-5% depending upon the state. In the last congressional election, those same polls underestimated democrat turnout by 2-3%. Remember the non-existent red wave.

If the previous presidential underestimation is again at work, Trump wins handily.

If the 2022 democrat underestimation is correct, Harris wins handily.

If the polls are correct, we will not know for days.

I think GOP will get the Senate back as math favors it.

I think it really is a tossup between Harris and Trump, all the polls whether favoring Harris or Trump are within the margin of error. So, it will depend on who gets out the vote. Harris had 2,000 people per minute knocking on the doors in PA. Not even close on the Trump side. Also, the undecided were breaking for Harris in wide margins. We'll see.

Whoever wins the Presidency will also win the House in my opinion.

Good Morning x84958
I have read your post about Jamy Traut and your hunt in Caprivi. I am planning such a hunt for 2026, Oct with Jamy.
Just a question , because I will combine Caprivi and Panorama for PG, is the daily rate the same the week long, I mean the one for Caprivi or when in Panorama it will be a PG rate ?
thank you and congrats for your story.
Best regards
Philippe from France

Hello Doug,
I am Philippe from France and plan to go hunting Caprivi in 2026, Oct.
I have read on AH you had some time in Vic Falls after hunting. May I ask you with whom you have planned / organized the Chobe NP tour and the different visits. (with my GF we will have 4 days and 3 nights there)
Thank in advance, I will appreciate your response.
Merci
