My recurve is a Hoyt Gamemaster II at 55lbs. It is shooting my 650 grain FMJ arrows at 168 fps. I believe that gives it 40lbs of kinetic energy. My wish list for animals is Kudu, Gemsbok, Impala, and Blue wildebeest.

My broadhead of choice is a Zwickey Delta. I believe that this will get the job done. Thoughts?

My trip will be this coming August.

That set up will work just fine, I got pass troughs on water buck and kudu and buried it to the fletch on blue wildebeest with #60 and 565 grain arrow's. You just need to put them in the right spot! I would use the Zwickey Eskimo as it's not quite as wide and will penetrate deeper.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
