Trophy Room Pictures

What a lot of awesome spaces! Congratulations to everyone for such grand trophies!

Love it, hope your gun room is just as congested! I have a friend in AZ that is in his 70’s, never been married and you have to duck and weave around his whole house. You can’t even see each other around the coffee table because of the hippo skull. I always loved his house!

i see nothing.

I started construction a few months ago on my retirement house in Louisiana, featuring a good size man cave. The one feature everyone wants and few houses provide is a really tall ceiling. My man cave will be 20ft x 30ft with 16ft+ tall ceiling. The ceiling design is a scissor truss. I am looking forward to finishing this up and getting moved in mid 2018. Retirement is still a year or two away, but I look forward trying to fill this room up.

My latest addition, just got him back from the taxi a few days ago.

He's the WTB that wandered into my woodlot last year during buck season.

Truly great collection. But I have to ask - how do you use your stove?!? :)
I had the same thought. But I would bring dinner home every night to have that bison.

If I am not mistaken you asked the same thing the last time.LOL..We don't use that stove. As you can see it's an old stove, it was a rental apartment many years ago. Now it my trophy apartment...(y)

I was wondering if it was a "Free-range" buffalo, not to be confused with a "Range-free" buffalo. It actually looks quite at home on the range or at least at home near the range. You do have a bunch of awesome trophies.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR MY RIFLE, ALWAYS APPROACH A NEW LOAD CAUTIOUSLY!!*
Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
Peterson .280AI brass, CCI 200 primers, 56.5gr of 4831SC, 184gr Berger Hybrid.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
