U.S Election reactions

Trust me, there's not going to be any exodus. That bunch who made the threat know exactly where they are best off.

@BRICKBURN can relax.

Come on Clayton join with me in helping to transport those folks North. I'm providing free rides and a lunch on the way to any Hollywood elite that wants to go to. Canada!

I am pretty sure the liberal crowd would only migrate to the large cities. The wide open spaces would probably remain pretty much left wing free!

Congratulations my American cousins, both our countries dodged a bullet. Ding Dong the witch is going to jail

and possibly Ginsberg, if she retires

I think she might have considered retirement if the election had turned out differently..

she will cling to her seat on the court until her last breath now..

I fear you are right.

Good point!

I think anyone who would have run against Hilary would have won.

In all reality, not likely at all..... The majority of serious candidates who ran with Trump in the republican primary were establishment candidates. They got destroyed by Trump precisely because of that fact..... Over the last several years, hard working, law abiding, US American taxpayers had grown sick and disgusted with career politicians and business as usual in DC on both sides of the isle. They had become tired of watching their constitutional rights being chipped away a piece at a time. They were tired of being called racists, homophobes, and xenophobes by the ever emboldened left. They were tired of watching the entitlement mentality creep even closer toward true socialism. They also had enough of watching the ultra-conservative right stand by and let it happen.

Trump defied political correctness, and told the truth about the state of America for the first time in a long time. He was willing to do what no other politician in moderns times was willing to do.....He trusted that the American people could handle the truth about what is wrong with this country, and that these truths must be acknowledged before solutions could occur. I believe it won the election for him.

So, in my opinion.... No, I don't think any other republican candidate could have pulled off this victory other than Trump. He struck a deep chord with enough Americans that wanted a chance at real change. I honestly didn't think we had the numbers left in this country to pull it off. I agree that he now has a golden opportunity to to affect some real change and progress with many of the critical issues that face us as a nation. My fear is that the ideological rifts between us as a people are still very deep and real. I don't know if Trump, or anyone for that matter, can re-unite us as a culture. I hope I am as wrong as all of the pollsters...

Ginsberg is 84 years old she could go anytime......not to be that guy but its true......you never know what will happen

I was an hour out of DC on my way home from namibia when the pilot came on the speaker and announced Trump wins! I was elated as all hunters should be on this day. With no way of knowing anything all night at 40,000 feet I was just praying in between naps. Now let's hope Trump with Don Jr in his ear will kick USFWS in the ass!
Regards,
Philip

It's probably safe to say that when you tick off so many of these people (celebrities, entertainment & media) it's a pretty good indication you've done something right.

To add to this point.

does anyone really believe that the blue collar worker in the rust belt really would have voted for the republican establishment? I don't. and I think that was the difference in the election.

I'm gonna be honest, I really thought Clinton would pull through. Goes to show you not your chickens before they hatch.
