I fly in 43 days and do have Jennifer working in it but just want a sanity check.

I did buy my flights earliest as I could and because of that my BOS-EWR leg has moved a few time but checked today for excitement and now United wants me to go BOS-IAD-EWR-JNB.

Again having Jennifer working on fixing it but is it normal for airlines to play musical flights or am I just special in not a good way?

Excited to be going but not excited about the getting there part.

It’s the “What are you going to do about it this late in the game?” game.

You may want to consider driving to Newark to start. That’s coming from a guy who just sit 5 hours on the tarmac in Newark.

I am sorry for your frustration, this seems to be the 'new normal' with United. Too many times I have booked non-stop flights only to have a layover, or book a 2 hour layover in EWR and end up with a 7 hour layover. Hopefully, things will get sorted out for you.

It's not "normal" to me, but my sense of normal was established in the decade before COVID. Since then, everything airline related looks like a magic 8-ball was in charge.

Jennifer is expertly on it as usual. I have the United widget on my home screen, which tells me how many days until my flight and I’ve taken a checking it at least once a day as I’m staring at mountains of numbers as motivation. When I logged into it today and saw the random flight changes. I was not happy but it is not the United of old when I was a 1K.

As long as I get there, and as long as my luggage gets there, I just have to put up with it.

Take a deep breath and remember the traveling can be challenging at times. @TRAVEL EXPRESS will be on it and ensure that you make your flights. Have a great safari!

The issue is parking. It's honestly not a bad idea if you can a) find someone to drive you or b) find a safe AND reasonable priced parking arrangement. Most are really expensive and not guaranteed your car will be there when you return.
