Thanks for the clarification.

Unfortunately we have some USF&W Service leadership and politicians that have no clue or consideration for what other countries' wildlife conservation policies and requirements are nor do they really care because those individuals are not part of their constituency and they would rather listen to and believe all you other's, the anti gun, anti hunting, groups nonsense rather than the facts by real wildlife conservationists, managers, and organizations, and from hunters.

Too true
Your shoes look a bit like my illegal shoes so we ban all shoes

The two most powerful anti hunting organizations in the world are the US Fish & Wildlife and Cities !

The economies must have been becoming far too stable, time for us to throw in a monkey wrench!

I shot one in 2021 specifically because there were rumors then.

My father was in the USFWS, he got out in the early 70’s to take a teaching job at Auburn. He kept in touch with many of his old friends and most of them got out in the 90’s due to the hostility of the Non-Hunters in the service.
I currently have friends in the service and they are asked not to discuss hunting around others, it’s disgrace that the service has come to this. Hopefully a second Trump administration can sort some of this out. With the two Trump sons being hunters there’s a little hope.

I have a giraffe shipping from SA in the next few weeks.
Was this just the hide or a mount? If a mount can I ask what the taxidermy cost and shipping was? I am looking to go in 2027 and my daughter wants a giraffe.

Fortunately in Alaska we do still discuss hunting: refuges up here were established in part to provide for continued sport and subsistence activities, to include hunting. I can tell you that this particular service employee, whose job is education and outreach, very actively promotes hunting. (y)

Terry, my dad’s roommate from Bridgewater College in Virginia and at Southern Illinois was the overseer of the refuge system in Alaska for a few years. I believe it was in the 70’s or maybe the 80’s. I loved his stories about living, hunting and fishing Alaska. His name was David (Dave) Olsen.
Cheers, David

I am hoping the Trump administration will push legislation to remove the ability for USFWS to waste our tax dollars on foreign species. They have no jurisdiction here and have been misusing the ESA for decades. The arrogance to think they can do something positive in those non hunting Africa countries is astounding!

Two things that will save the Giraffe:

1.) Every safari hunter should shoot one.

2.) Every safari hunter should eat one.

Future demand will be limited.

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
