Very big Black impala on one of our hunting areas what do you guys think he will measure?

Cool animal. I never killed any of the unusual color phase plains game animals but black impala and golden wildebeest are beautiful creatures for sure.

I am not good at guessing horn length but he looks like a giant impala.

Black Impala are cool, look very much like Dark Fallow Deer.

Around 24-25in can’t see how much he curves back.

The PH on my first safari in Zimbabwe put me onto one a little bigger....and I whiffed the shot!
That one is a don't hesitate, just shoot size.

He is nice and wide
But looks pretty flat(doesnt curve back much)
Will make a nice trophy

He is old and wide and a nice throphy but he is 2 inches short of RW....

Would really like to see him from the side so we could see how far he goes back and then how his tips come back forward.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
