Excellent shape. A few cosmetic marks as shown in the pics. Clear glass. Illuminated reticle functions properly. Has a dot with a large circle around it. Has been used on Buffalo. Taken off a .375 Ruger

Having trouble finding comps for this so let’s start at $600 shipped OBO with extra batteries.

Greetings: I have one on my carbine pump 3006 deep woods moving deer gun. They haven't made that reticle for quite some time (the last variant was the Muzzleloader/Shotgun scope parallax adjusted for 75 yds.) Mine cost me $750 brand new Sept. '03 (the only reason i know that is because that's when my local Cabela's had their Grand Opening.) So, it's quite possibly 20 yrs old (and a lil banged up.) What will you accept for it?? All that said, I cannot find batteries for it and stupidly chucked the dead one prior to jotting the number down! smh

CR 2032 should be your battery. However, looking a picture I am questioning my rusty memory. Perhaps seller can confirm for you.

See the pics above. It's completely different, unfortunately. They really should standardize the batteries thing (which most have). 2032s are in most of my newer illuminateds, but not the older Leupolds. :( It looks like an AAA cut in-thirds (but flat like a watch batt.)

Correct. Looks like a hearing aid battery. Apologies for the error. Later ones were 2032–almost certain about that. I did not notice those batteries in the picture. Apologies for being the minister of misinformation. :-)

I have the same scope that came with a rifle I bought. It uses a 1/3 N battery. I wasn't able to find the battery it at grocery stores, etc but found them at a batteries plus store.

TYVM!

I have this exact scope but the illumination comes and goes. Would Leupold fix this thing considering it is an old model? Don't they have a lifetime warranty on their products?

Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!

Hello. If you haven't already sold this rifle then I will purchase. Please advise. Thank you.

I doubt you are interested in any trades but I was getting ready to list a Sauer 404 3 barrel set in the 10-12 price range if your interested. It has the 404J, 30-06 and 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. Only the 30-06 had been shot and it has 7 rounds through it as I was working on breaking the barrel in. It also has both the synthetic thumbhole stock and somewhere between grade 3-5 non thumbhole stock
