Seller appears legit. An image search using the website's listed physical address shows a storefront. So many scammers these days.

I tried some of this in 2 3/4" 00 buck in my browning bps. So far I haven't been able to get a decent pattern past 25 yards. And even then it's not great. I've used IC, M and F choke tubes, but none seem to be ideal. What choke do you use? I would guess the 3" will do better either way, but I couldn't find any 3" at the time, so I bought 2 3/4".

No choke CYL or IC..Maybe your IC is grabbing the wad? [emoji848][emoji848]

Their 3” Magnum Copper Plated 10 Pellet 000 is pretty decent too. Even though the velocity is 125 fps slower than advertised.

@SAFARIKIDD - Given any thought to using some Apex Predator TSS 3" shells? They make them in 2's, 4's and BB. Thought it would be good for you seeing as they have a hog on the box. ;)

That's the point. The higher density of the TSS makes it possible to go to smaller shot, get more pellets and knock them down even better.

Tungsten Buck Shot - that is an interesting concept. I wonder how far down in size you could go and still get equivalent knockdown as 00. In addition, you would have way more than the std 9 or 10 pellets of 00 lead. In the way of turkey loads they claim as much knockdown power from #9 tungsten as #5 lead. I honestly believe it’s way more plus a ton more pellets from my experience knocking ole Toms down. A turkey shot with a load of #9 tungsten looks like it got hit by a freight train.

It might be worth a try. I also agree, the flight control wad is something special. I’m a firm believer in it. Combine the two: TSS + Flite Control = dead critters.

I'm currently using Federal Black Cloud TSS 12 bore, 3", BB/7 shot for geese at all ranges and long range ducks. For short range ducks I have some Federal Black Cloud TSS 12 bore, 3" 3/9 shot and some Apex TSS 12 bore, 3", 9 shot.

I've seen a couple big tom turkey taken with Federal Heavyweight TSS 12 bore, 3.5" 7 shot. Last one was spring 2023 shot at 60 yards...

Longest shot I've done is a 70 yard (verified with a laser range finder) on two geese. The first shot was a turkey load and dumped the bird on the bank. Second shot was BB/7 and the bird was injured, I took another shot at 20 yards and it did this to the head of the goose...

For the number of times I go hunting turkey and waterfowl, TSS is worth it to me. Take a look at this thread. There's a lot of info and personal experience in there...
