Wave Hunting, Surfing, Beaches

Sorry I did not follow the names. And back then actually didn’t know there was such a thing as world famous surfers.
The late 70s very early 80s was when what we think of as pro Surfing came of age. There was a pro Surfing scean in the early 60s but it was tiny and relegated mostly to coastal areas. In the late 70s bigger money got involved and it became a little more mainstream also the equipment was changing. The twin fins and tri fin thrusters where putting surfers on different places on the wave and allowing for more radical maneuvers.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
