I thought I would start a tread dedicated to the much loved 375's

Please post your pictures of rifles in this caliber and also game hunted with them from anywhere in the world!

I asked a client once why he uses a 375 for everything, he said "because everything I shoot with it falls down!"

I like to call my client rifle in 375 H&H the bush thumper!

I will start the tread with a few pictures and videos !

in the picture below is my 375 Ruger!

This rifle is like and extension of my arm, and it has taken all of the DG species. Winchester Mod70, .375H&H.

I’ve used many loaner rifles (supplied by my white hunters) in this caliber over the years. Some of the nicest ones include a BRNO ZKK602, an Auguste Francotte Magnum Mauser, a Parker Hale Safari, a Westley Richards Magnum Mauser, an original Holland & Holland Magnum Mauser, a pre ‘64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade and a current production Mauser Model 98 Magnum Diplomat.

But my currently owned .375 Holland & Holland Magnum is a Remington Model 700 Kevlar Stock Custom with an M16 extractor fitted for more reliable extraction.

Interarms Whitworth. Just picked it up. 1983 model, never fired. My old Winchester model 70 (P64) I just sold back to the son of a master guide I worked for. The price of that sale covered this rig and 60% of a new Seekins for a new work rig from Jake’s AH offerings.

This is a current production 375 Ruger African. It is going to Africa in June on a Buffalo hunt.

This is definitely one of those calibers that l am wanting to add to my stash. Looking forward to the pro and con input from folks.
The only negative to the 375 Ruger and it is not really a negative to me, is the lack of brass for reloading. Factory ammo is very plentiful at around $90 a box. Buy it shoot it and you have brass formed to your rifle.

We where in Safari Outdoor in J’Burg and they had the Hornady 300 grain DGX available.
Easy to reload, very easy to get good accuracy, at least that has been my experience.
Oh I forgot that some of the gurlymen complain about the recoil due to rifles being on the light side at 8 pounds.

awesome pictures!

Here is my CZ-550 with an AHR upgrade, in 375 H&H, with a Trijicon Accupoint 1-6x24 scope, with Alaskan Arms QR mounts. The Nyala was my longest shot.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
