You might want to research #3.My list is more about the places than the prey. But here goes:
- Return to South Africa again in 2025 to hunt DG (Buff) in Limpopo as well as Kudu and a few others.
- Visit Free State to hunt a black Wildebeest
- Hunt Tanzania - possibly for a Lioness and Grants Gazelle among others
- Wyoming for Pronghorn and PD's
- Alaska - Just to visit the only US State I have not had the change to see. Hunting or fishing optional.
- Zimbabwe or Botswana to hunt - Quarry is flexible
- Bull Elk in KY

I'm right with you. I grew up in western Kansas and there's nothing better than a wild pheasant hunt. And they used to be commonplace 40 years ago. Not sure how the wild pheasants went away.Have done all I’ve wanted in Africa and US. However, I would like to do at least one more “free range” pheasant hunt like we enjoyed “back in the day” in western Kansas. In 2025, sadly unobtainium anywhere.
I was fortunate to do a couple January late season whitetail doe hunts out of Hill City. Saw quite a few pheasants, but we we there for deer.I'm right with you. Females of all species are protected in Tanzania. Which makes selecting a Zebra a bit of an exercise sometimes. You might want to research #3.
Unless you know something I don't, I'm pretty sure a Lioness in Tanzania is off the table. You can hunt a male lion but they're pretty strict on age. You can hunt lioness in certain parts of Zimbabwe though
