What caliber would you bring back from the dead?

I think 10.75x68 which with modern powders and bullets it would be a great cartridge.It is easy to fit in a standard length action and can duplicate the old 404 velocities.

In Germany, the cartridge 6,5x55 still has a following, despite an increasingly suffering from competition from the cartridge 6.5 Creedmoor. Bringing it back from the death ist still not necessary.

No 30-06. I don’t believe that 250 grain bullets are made in 30 caliber anymore but this is what they look like.

I thought Hawk Bullets made a 250gn version in .30 cal. Maybe they don't anymore. I've never seen them, and I have no idea if they're good. I believe it is an old-school, non-bonded cup-n-core style round nose.

You mean the cartridge 450/400 Nitro Express 3-inch I suppose. You don't need to bring this cartridge back from the dead. There are still enough components or even factory ammunition for that.
