Out of the blue today a CZ 550 in 416 Rigby crossed paths with myself. It is fitted with a Leupold VX6HD 1-6 illuminated dot and some extras are included and I bought it. I should not have, since I wasn't in the market, I believe I am covered with a 375 H&H and 458 Express. But heck, the 416 fills the big void between the two and I just know I will enjoy it...

How about the rest, what have you bought that you really did not need, but could not pass on it..

A new Husqvarna 572xp chainsaw, a 32 inch Stihl lightweight bar and a couple chains. I have an Echo CS 620 but it doesn't have the power for what I'm cutting. I could make do but 10cc in a saw makes a big difference as does going from a 28" to a 32" bar.

Too many rifles, pistols and shotguns to count until I figured out what I really need. I'm not likely to add any more at this stage in my life.

Countless shooting sticks but I keep going back to my BOG-POD Adrenaline.

Camping, hunting and motorcycle equipment to beat the band...this should probably be on top of the list but I've started going though it and selling some stuff.

I'm sure if you asked my wife this question you would get a much more comprehensive answer.

Arguably the Best Saw ever made? .. respectfully, to each their own.
Attended a Loggers Congress Long ago, they were selling New Powerheads for $550. Sold it, however.

I’ve spent way to much money on Wine, Women and Song foolishly, should have bought more guns!

Can’t have to many saws!

I bought an engagement ring 48 years ago and still married . She lets me go hunting anytime, didn't complain when I bough ranches, Quarter horses, Longhorn cattle or a boat and much more. Keep her happy and she lets me think I am the King.

Pulsar thermal…

Didn’t really need it…

But zero regrets… it’s fun!

my son (Dentist, soon to be Endodontist) bought one too...i was (in his brand new, perfect-perfect place) like WTF is that? (I have husky saws, but manageable ones lol)...he muttered a bit and said "that's the best saw there Is!" like it was going to be auctioned off to the Smithsonian one day! LOL

Ex-wife (and just 2 follow-up GFs). All the rest: FINE! lol I'm quite sane with money management, but the middle of the bell curve, not so much...I always told my kids, you'll never have as much money, and bills under control, as when you're SINGLE! LOL (advice for youngsters; now both young adult Drs. they are v. good but daughter scares me a lil in this realm.) As a young adult, i sat at a rather well-to-do family dinner and the Patriarch gave his daughter a lecture....(she dating a "peasant" in the eyes of the family. "it MUST be mutally-assured-destruction; you can't marry a guy that makes less than you (she a lawyer.) And she heeded that sage advice and married up quite well. Good for her! The whole package. Based upon my own experience and that, i pretty much advised my kids of same. Daughter listened...I think Son is afraid of (American women taking full advantage,) so he's enjoying life and in no rush. Good Boy! ;) LOL Have good self-control with respect to Men's toys. Of course, Einstein factors in...lol...It's all relative to your income. There's some infamous law of economics and behavior (which describes Big Fat Swampy Gov't. to a T: Give someone an additional dollar and they will figure out how to spend another 3 dollars......invest it and give it to the people you love (which may be land given to the Nature Conservancy, which allows hunting, for all of the hunting fraternity/sorority to enjoy in the future!) ;)

I bought a Stihl 500 it’s fuel injected. And starts very easily. No ethanol fuel in the carburetor issues. And more power

we can't wait for the calendar featuring whitmer in a bikini sitting on top of it! :p Stihls are better but I've had Huskies for 20+ yrs that still fire up 1st pull!

During the war in ‘71, we officers were given the opportunity to purchase our own pistols from caches of confiscated firearms that were being stored in government warehouses (either seized from criminals or taken from deceased people who had no offspring that were interested in retaining the firearms).

I really vied for a Walther PPK in .32 ACP (the cream of the crop amongst civilian owned handguns in East Pakistan back in those days). But much to my dismay, I couldn’t find one at the government warehouse which I had visited. So instead, I contented myself with a Webley & Scott Model 1921 in .32 ACP. A very antiquated weapon even for 1971. I certainly didn’t think very highly of it, initially.

It ended up saving my life 13 years later during an anti-poaching patrol incident.

+1 Great to deal with. I purchased custom rifle. No issues.

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary
