What is the BEST piece of hunting advice you've been given?

Take your kids hunting and make sure they have fun. If that means you don’t get your game so what. They grow up.
This is great advice. Each season they get a bit older, and so do we. When they were little, we always had “Crisis chocolate” in our packs. A sit down and some chocolate really does refocus youth in a rough moment. Add coffee to that chocolate stop and it does the same for the adults.

Don't wait until you are so old that you can't do it without help.

I would much rather tell my grandchildren stories of what I did when I was younger, from my rocking chair on the porch, than be rolled into a position to take a shot, than when I am 80.

Don't wait to follow your wants and dreams, even if you have to pinch pennies! Life is short and who knows what your health will look like in 5 years, 1 year, 6 months, or tomorrow.

I could not have said that better! You are correct! Life is short. Go for it while you can, there is no guarantee on the future.

There is a lot of good advice in this thread.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
