We are all jealous! Take a little extra moment here and there to grab a photo...you won't regret that. I would also take some notes along the way of how the days are going and create the story of how it goes. Some come back and post it here for us to read but whether you do that or not, create it for you. Some go so far as to create those printed photo journals as a record of your time in Africa.

Haven’t been to Namibia but I forget to pack a simple head net . Come in handy if the flying bugs are bad this time of year .
Great that you will have time to reconnect with your father ! Mine died way to young , but always special when one of my sons come along.
