It’s a common thing here in Arkansas. Coyotes, raccoon, hogs, and whitetail deer are all commonly hunted using dogs here.I'm 99% sure that people still hunt with hounds here in the Southern US, for boar and/or raccoon.
There are indeed! I have only ever seen one wild fox here in Georgia and regrettably it was dead on the side of the road, but the wildlife education center here has several of them and they are native to this state and others. Are there foxes in USA?
Yes we have quite a few around our areaAre there foxes in USA?
Fox and bobcats fall under furbearer hunting regulations in our state and can be hunted with dogs...just don’t know many people that train dogs for them but there are some who make pens to run them in. Most dog hunting here is deer and rabbit. There are indeed! But I have no idea about the legality of fox hunting in the USA. Black bear hunting with dogs appears to be legal in North Carolina and in Maine at least.
Bobcats appear to be under similar regulations here.Fox and bobcats fall under furbearer hunting regulations in our state and can be hunted with dogs...just don’t know many people that train dogs for them but there are some who make pens to run them in. Most dog hunting here is deer and rabbit.
I was actually wondering about those.I hunt these with my hounds in Idaho. We only actually kill a small percentage of what we tree, but they are fun to run.

Do you need to kill the rabbit with a shotgun, or can you use a greyhound (or a falconry) to do the job?Fox and bobcats fall under furbearer hunting regulations in our state and can be hunted with dogs...just don’t know many people that train dogs for them but there are some who make pens to run them in.
