Who Are The Best Running Shots With A Rifle?

Yes, but this did not discontinue common usage of the nobility prefix "von" [occasionally "zu"] denoting nobility in the family lineage at some point in time. Look at a historic atlas of Germany before unification was achieved under Bismark. The area we now know as Germany was as late as the end of the 19th century comprised of dozens of separate countries (e.g. Prussia, Saxony, Palatinate, Saxe-Coberg, Bavaria, Hanover, Westphalia, etc). Each had its share of noble families using the von prefix. And many families lost their official titles due to various reasons but continued to use the nobility prefix. It is estimated that at the time the Weimar Republic abolished nobility, as many as three hundred family names outside the official nobility were using "von." Perhaps this fella actually is from a family that was still officially of the nobility class when nobility was officially banned, and he uses the title "prince" to differentiate himself from the "pretender" families using von in their name then and now.
@Ontario Hunter — or this guy shoots “SO GOOD” that he DEMANDS people refer to him as a “Prince”…..AND THEY SHOULD !!

The difference being that in America, our most hunted animals are whitetail deer.
Who, generally speaking, will stop at a grunt or whistle.

That’s universal across the world from what I’ve seen. It’s not only whitetail deer.

Maybe in your neck of the woods. Around here it just kicks them into a higher gear. 20 years ago they used to stop. The survivors have learned the error of their forebears ways.

If you guys would entertain me for a moment I'd like to give you my take on this subject and interject an idea or two.
I have hunted the SE US for deer and pigs. Pretty small sampling for sure.
However I also run a very nice gun shop and I have made some observations I'd like to share regarding difference here and across the pond.
In the US we hunt mostly private lands, some guys hunt in clubs but while hunting they are mostly left to their own devices.
In Europe where the clubs dictate rules and such, people are observed to a higher degree, yes?
So in the US a person who is glassing movement in the deer woods with his rifle scope is not likely to face any punishment or even a harsh word.
It's an abysmal practice. I feel one should use binos. But I would guess we sell 2 dozen scopes of 15x or higher magnification than scopes below 8 max, and, 100 ; 1 scopes vs binoculars.
So when the American enters the woods with, say, 4x minimum Magnification he's going to have a harder time hitting said moving animal.
I leave a carbine Steyr rifle on the display with either a trijicon, or some other red dot to introduce guys to the idea of no power red dot.
I have had many who will meet me in the middle and buy lower (1-6) scopes on lightweight guns like the Scout rifle or T3s.
So I think (just me) the Americans lesser skill is of their own making.
We DO a form of driven hunting here in SC low country and only shotguns are allowed. I've often thought how my 16" Steyr with its deltapoint pro would be a superior weapon.
Thanks for the time.

Franz Albrecht has amazing skills!

Only American I know who is really good on running game is Bob Beck owner of MOA Rifles, Mcmillian Stocks, Defiant Actions and Broken Top Outfitters!
I have a couple good friends who are amazing on running coyotes!

Been doing deer drives every year for over 30 years. My Pop longer than that. We can shoot along with a couple others. I can tell you this…you gotta lead em way further than most think.
