Winchester 1895 Flatside 38-72
Rare octagon barrel configuration.
All metal a mellow olive color.
Only 5000 of the 1895s were made in the "flat side" style - all in 1895-96 so this is an antique.
Totally original so not perfect - the barrel edges are rough but I just couldn't have it restruck, leaving any restoration to the next owner.
These Flat Sides are super cool rifles!
$3000 + actual shipping

Neat old rifle! Curious as to how many rounds these hold down in the magazine?

A couple more days before it goes to GB.
I don't think there's a lower priced flatside on the market.

BTW, this is an antique so can ship directly to a US buyer!

Definitely a COOL old flatside... I just can't afford it right now... Too many other irons in the fire right now.
Cheers!

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Hello, I have giraffe leg bones similarly carved as well as elephant tusks which came out of the Congo in the mid-sixties
