I believe that the new model of this scope is now only available in 34mm tube, I purchased one at the DCS show in Atlanta and fitted it to a Blaser R8, I might have been concerned about bolt clearance if it was going onto a regular bolt action rifle. At the show both the old 30mm and the new 34mm model was available. I was replacing an old model 1-4 x 24 Swarovski that was 30mm. In hindsight maybe I should have purchased the 30mm tube model as I also had to buy a new R8 one piece mount with 34mm rings for the new scope. There is not a lot of spare room between the tube and the cocker / safety on the R8 with this scope and regular 34mm rings. It's a good job my son does not have big thumbs!
I also shoot this model of scope in a 30mm tube, there seems to be more clearance on the R8 with this model.
trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
