Xl trapper or stockman folding knife?

I just bought a Benchmade Taggedout. It's slightly smaller than a Buck Folding Hunter though. Seems to take a really good edge though. I have a Bucklite I bought nearly forty years ago when they first cameout. I used it on a bambi just this year. They are a good knife...but too small for the original poster.

I simply put xl in the title because I was looking for a large folder do to having large hands. The one I had and lost overboard was just over six inches closed.
:) Got it. The way the post read it seemed some kind of mark on the blade. XX is a common mark on most Case knives. The only thing I've ever been able to determine about it is that a long time ago on a very early model X was marked to designate it had been heat treated and XX for heat treated twice. Since then XX doesn't have much meaning other than being recognizable and synonymous with the Case brand.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
