This time a 57 year male has been attacked presumably by a Great White shark.
Unbelievable the number of shark attacks in Australian waters in recent years.
Apparently from observations the shark has been described as very big.
Western Australia (southern part) seems to be a haven for the Great White.
Actually watching Foxtel recording on diving around Perth waters. This region is “the” place for the Great White and attacks.
Welcome to Australia!!

I heard 4 metres 13+ feet,

Sad for his family.

I hate sharks,

Sad to hear this

Evil Beast, being a. Land Lubber there is something about them that feels eeery

They are primitive animals that are not intimidated by humans. They are hungry. The only known predator of great whites are orcas (killer whales). There have been quite a few attacks by great whites off California... but not to the extant they occur in Australia.

A little food chain reminder, eh?

One report mentions more than one shark and a Tiger shark and the White which would be a first at one attack

Ray! You Aussies never seem to learn to stay out of the water! If it’s not a shark, it’s crocs, or some poisonous snake, insect, fish or something there in Austrailia! At least no leopards nor lions!

So how do you think Australia trains its swimmers!???

Give the sharks a break, its only one person.
Hippos sort out more people every year.

Yes, but you are allowed to Hunt Hippo.

Sharks, and every other bloody thing down here is protected.

One less Aussie rugby supporter, thats not a bad thing is it?

Their swimmers are fast because they have keep ahead of the sharks. Great race training.

t's quite strange.
On average, shark attacks kill 15 people a year
(in 2020 ten).
But 150 people a year are killed by falling coconuts, but the whole world is afraid of sharks.

Just wait until the funnel-web spiders develop tiny scuba tanks.

Reza Call me any time you want to talk about Elephant. hunting and CMS.
I've hunted two Elephant with CMS.
In 13 African safari's and an equal number of North American hunts, BUZZ is the best guide I have ever hunted with.
