Your 2025 Hunt Plans?

Hi UK Hunter, no this is not a McNab. It is just a challenge for our Carruthers members to achieve. Carruthers & Co is a small hunting and fishing club of life-loving adventurers and we dream up challenges from time to time. The Golden Tie challenge requires our group to hunt some specific quarry in Africa and Scotland. A bit of fun. Spice has no value in a bottle.
As soon as I have the plans cemented I will let you know Para45. It would be great to meet up. Kevin
Ah sorry, i misunderstood then. Sounds a great idea to come up with some challenges to go after.

Stop caring about work. I'm halfway serious about that.

Bezoar Ibex (Turkey) in Feb
Leopard (Namibia) in July
Chamois (Croatia) in November

Going to be a good year!
That’s really what I’ve found too. I can book a trip and then find a way to get the days off work or I can stress and use work as an excuse to not book a trip. It’s a mindset. There are a lot of hunters who could have done a lot more than they did and regret it later.

Just Botswana non trophy elephant in September for me. Otherwise, I’ll be spending the year working on my deer property and hunting that.

Thinking Canada moose for 2026 if anyone has a place they’d recommend (preferably Manitoba or Alberta)
I didn’t know Botswana offered non-trophy elephant hunts? Is it a true non-trophy non-exportable bull or still an exportable bull in an area that doesn’t produce large ivory?

January/Feb - sandhill cranes in Texas.b
June - Mozambique for leopard, to complete my Big Five/Dangerous Seven. Looking for a croc to better the 15' I got in Zambia, hippo if the opportunity presents. Not much else on my list, porcupine - maybe.
October - back to Louisiana for alligators.

Good luck to all in 2025

I hunted moose in BC in 2023 with this mob. I was very happy with the hunt .

Non trophy non exportable in NG4 I believe. I bought it in the local SCI auction. The hunt is with GameTrackers Africa. I plan to post a report when I return

January, hunt the whitetail rut hard, waterfowl if any of my holes fill up. Bone dry right low.
February, finish up deer season and then hogs in central Alabama.
August, South Africa for tsessebe, birds and fishing then anything else I can afford.
September, doves and teal.
December, possibly Northern California for cackling and Aleutian Canada geese.

Tibet in July for Yeti, Oregon and Washington state in August for Sasquatch, if I have any energy remaining, September in the New Jersey pine barrens for the Jersey Devil.

Alberta for moose and wolf in October with the wife.
Pheasant in January with the Boys.
Maybe Florida in September for Lake Dinosaurs

Don’t forget skunk ape in Florida or the roogaroo in Louisiana and that would be a mythical beast grand slam.

Maybe add a haggis in Scotland to the list?

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
