Zimbabwe Free Ranging Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo & Croc Hunt For One Or Two Hunters 2018 Only

Just came back from our camp construction site.
The large black mane lion was seen once just after dark. We will be in America from 13 may until about 8 June if anyone would like to speak to us by phone. Will be in Colorado for some shoulder surgery.
Cheers, Lon

AFRICA, THE MOST ADDICTIVE DRUG EVER!

SO if 1 person took them all what would be his costs, and how many days would he be booked for.
Hi Crudeoil,

This is the first time that I have had an actual computer and real internet since I posted the upcoming available hunt. Everything that I have replied to has from sitting on a certain rock above our under construction camp. Now and then we get signal. I am not sure how to send a PM. I will get my wife to help me in a few minutes. I see that you are located in Wyoming, I will be in Meeker, Co. for shoulder surgery. I do not know where you are located in Wyoming but maybe we can get together in the next couple of weeks. I will be in Colorado the last two weeks of May and the first two of June. I am meeting another member from Baggs in about ten days.

Best of luck with the surgery Lon.

Hi Lon. In my younger days I have hunted outside of Meeker twice. Elk and mule deer came right up into the town along the river in late afternoon. I would never have guessed people were going to Meeker for surgery, especially all the way from other countries! Apparently Meeker has grown a bit since I was there!!! Good luck with your surgery, hope you recover fast!

We have been busy! We are in the process of building a new camp. We started out a simple, dry, fly camp! It has progressed into the following: four cement/rock foundations for safari tents, with attached showers and flushing toilets. One large thatched dinning/bar area, a permanent kitchen. Then there is the big ticket item a 6000 litre per hour bore hole with good pure water (from 106 meters down). Will so much for keeping costs down. We have big plans for the wildlife for the future mainly developing water points. We have stopped all poaching on the western half of the conservancy, not new snares found in the last three months. The eastern side has been left as we found it, part of the reason we have left it alone is cattle wander into the area and the lions come in and eat well, so do the leopards they take care of the goats.
One of our biggest assets is the "tribal chief", a very fine man who actually has a vision for the future and that vision is wildlife and protection of the land, without the help of NGOs. Speaking of NGOs one group out of Europe came in and offered "two to four million" in assistance in restoring wildlife to the area. Of course one of the conditions was "Photographic Yes", "Hunting No! There offer was declined!

Hi Sierraone,

Meeker is where I came from before moving on to Zimbabwe. Meeker is a wonderful little town and due to oil, oil shale and natural gas wells the taxes have benefited the town infrastructure tremendously along with a benefactor who left a large sum of money to town. Meeker has a new modern hospital, with fantastic doctors (with common country sense). Unfortunately upriver the areas where you hunted have changed drastically. Literally it is the retreats for billionaires. No more asking the ranchers for permission to fish the river for trout. You can still fish it but you better have plenty of money as it will cost you more than AFRICA. shame.

All and all, I cannot say enough good things about Meeker, Colorado.

That is a shame. I have many good memories of the town and hunting the Flat Tops Wilderness!

The Flat Tops as well the National Forest has remained unchanged! You have Theodore Roosevelt to thank for much of that, by the way if you are in the area and Tom Tucker happens to be at the Buford store (now closed) he might show you some of the spikes in the trees where Teddy you to camp. Of course you can stay in the Meeker Hotel and stay in the same room that he use to stay in (actually he stayed in a different room that what they say he stayed in)! Also don't forget the Meeker Museum.

One little note as to the dedication of some of the people of Meeker. My daughter goal was to be selected for West Point. She need a certain math class that was not offered. A man, Dr. Dorsett, M.D. quit his practice to start and teach the class (no one else qualified). He had a total of three students! My daughter graduated in the top 5% and then cross branched Air Force where she becomes a lt. Colonel this month. Dr. Dorsett, thank you! By the way he is still teaching!

This package is still available if anyone is interested

As mentioned problem if the hunter cares and if he's a U.S. citizen is the non importing ban for lion and elephant. Shame.

It is our understanding that US fish and wildlife Service are issuing applications forms for Lions that are taken or to be taken approved permits are being issued on a one on one basis .
These lions are a genuine threat to the community they have killed 80 cattle 200 goats .
The community will genuinely benefit if the lions and leopards in this area are legally hunted for export

Lon sounds like a great opportunity, but oil prices are still a little low for me. I am from Wichita and yes I know the guys down the street that changed everything in the Meeker area. My business partner owns the compound just outside of town on the river, former Sealy property. I am lucky in that I get to hunt that area without the $$$$$$$$$$$.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris
