ZIMBABWE: Nyamazana Hunt March To April 2014

Thanks Wayne,

I will feel much better when the elephant is in my house. Hopefully the USFW ruling will be changed.

For anybody interested in a well priced elephant hunt, look no further. Especially if you live outside of the US. Good luck in getting your hunt rebooked.

All the best.

Wheels ~ thanks for sharing your report - I heard about it when we met up with Wayne a week ago and asked Jerome to send me just the text as the photos would not download on my iPhone in the bush. I read it while in Wayne's camp - the same one you hunted from. Thanks for the plug on your flights - glad all went smoothly! I'll have to prepare my report when we get home but probably won't be as detailed or entertaining as yours - nicely done and congrats on the great trophies!

congratulations wheels that is an outstanding hunt ,mate .
plenty of feelings went into the write up , there was definitely some hard ships through out the whole adventure .
two cracker elephants ,and a leopard to boot ,bloke .
every report from hunters that are fortunate to hunt with wayne , tells of adventure and hard earned trophies ,except your leopard (ha ha ha )
glad the powers that be ,have had a moment of rational thinking and your trophies can be im ported to your house to be admired for all your days , wheels
not real sure how ive missed this tale for so long , but it is defnately worth the wait .
thanks for sharing your hunt of a lifetime with all of us ,mate .

Awesome report Wheels and fantastic photos absolutely had my butt glued to the seat.

Lori,

Thanks for the kind words about my report. Hope you are able to enjoy the photos when you get back to civilization.

I am presuming that you and your husband have had a successful hunt. I am really looking forward to reading your report. While reading I will be able to visualize your locations and the terrain. Tell Wayne and his family hi for me.

Thanks again for booking the flight and Afton House.

All the best.

bluey and Bob,

Glad you guys enjoyed the report. I certainly had the time of my life.

Just like you guys, I only wish I had the time and money to do a hunt like this every year.

All the best.

Great read, Wheels!
The Leopard was definitely icing on the cake!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Glad you enjoyed the report.

Regarding the leopard......even old boars find a sow in heat occasionally.

All the best.

Thank you for the Great report!

Glad you enjoyed reading it. Thanks.

All the best.

Bringing this back up from the "archives".

Read your report for the first time this morning. Very enjoyable...especially after getting to the good ending! You worked your butt off, and so did your crew!

I am tired now from following you on that long spoor...but must now summon the strength to finish the vacuuming! :)

Thanks for the diversion from domestic duties!

Tim

Tim,

Appreciate the kind words. Glad you enjoyed the report.

We had a family party last night and I too got to vacuum. We are both obviously "domestic emperors".:D

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
