There is wisdom in the words of both
@rookhawk &
@Rare Breed
I went on my first Safari last July in Zimbabwe, 10day hunt with tuskless being the main focus and ended up with great Impala & Bushbuck as well + I got to spend a couple of days fishing and caught a Voondoo catfish that was bigger than the one they had mounted over the bar.
This trip was more than a year and a half in the making and for the sake of brevity I will be splitting it up into two posts; one for the hunting and another later post for the lessons I learned along the way in planning and executing my first African hunt.
This being the hunting write up I'll start with the pertinent info....
