I should be able to attend again this year as well- Phil and Charles- save me a seat!!!:) And I imagine that Steve Dean and the Serapa folks will be there as well

See yall there!!
I'm going to do my best to not be on call like last year (I'm going to tell my office manager now so I can make DSC)! Looking forward to catching up!

If I could somehow persuade you to save Steve and I a seat lol! ;)

As in the past, there will be a sign up for the dinner prior to. As large a group we have now, we need a headcount prior to the dinner.

It wasn't too long ago that the worry was whether enough folks would show up! And now the worry is having enough seats! Awesome and shows what a great little community we have.

I do plan on sacrificing personally and making the 35 minute drive to the dinner. Now with traffic, it could be an hour, but I'm prepared for that type of wild area experience. It's kinda like travelling to Zim.... :D

If anyone is still looking for a hotel in Dallas, I have a connection at the Hilton @ Park Cities (about 7 miles from the convention center) and can probably arrange a discounted rate for AH members.. Just shoot me a PM if anyone is in need and Ill see what I can do..

Park Cities isnt exactly downtown.. but its not too far.. and its pretty much a straight shot to the convention center..

I am sure I could get AH discounted banquet space there too if you wanted to use the hotel as the venue for the AH dinner as opposed to a downtown restaurant..

Does anyone know anything about the La Quinta near the train station? 302 South Houston. Looks fairly near the convention center on the map.

Shhhhhh. . . . your not to talk about that hotel, it will book up.

OOOPS......Sorry

We are still planning on Gilley's which is just a few blocks from the convention center. They really treated us well last year, a good time was had by all and by the end of the evening the manager there was talking to us about next year.

Do tell...... o_O
Pretty rough! Built a water tower there in 2004, you couldn't keep from having the job robbed at least weekly! But hell, they stole my tailgate at the Hampton Inn last year at DSC!

Had my tailgate stolen in Grand Prairie in 1991 while on my honeymoon. Turns out the police chief of GP had his taken the same night.
