Cancellation DSC Atlanta AH dinner Friday night due to weather

We are flying in from Duluth MN Friday morning, while it's normal for us, understandable that cxl is wise plan.

Norfolk Shooter and I are still planning to have dinner at the venue tomorrow.

I did though so enjoy Thursday! Wonderful set up and outfitters! Well done DSC! I had the privilege of taking one of my PHs out to dinner tonight, Lou Hallamore who wrote Chui. If I had known the weather I would have set the dinner for Thursday night!!!!

It really was a nice set up and show, just too bad on turnout. It was definitely easy to talk to any outfitter though. I think weather is really going to hold a lot of people back. I changed my flight to return home early and got to airport before snow started thankfully. I had 3 uber drivers tell me they would not drive today (Friday) until weather and roads cleared.

I just drove about 8 miles from my hotel to the convention center and roads were empty, zero cars. This is a normal day for me but I guess here it’s crippling.

Roads are rough if you have a small car. No problem for 4 wd truck though just don’t drive 70. But seen tons of salt trucks and plow trucks coming in. Should have things cleared up good soon I think.

I just left the show about 45 minutes ago. Roads are fine.

Sad I was going to miss it but Delta cancelled me last night so I will miss the whole show.

My flight is now delayed a few hours. Must be backed up from all the delays this morning, all the planes are at the gates

Saw this on the way to the show yesterday morning. Not sure how it got resolved. Pic doesn’t show that well but it was fully jackknifed.

My wife and I were at the show yesterday (Friday) and will be there today. Unfortunately show floor were almost empty and all the outfitters were complaining. Good luck whoever is flying in . They canceled 600 flights yesterday. Roads are even worse today because of ice.

I’d say about half of the outfits are complaining and the others like it because they are having quality conversations. I was able to speak to a lot of places in detail. That didn’t happen last year
