Curious to see what action people are taking for the Coronavirus

We are on the farm for the most part. Trips for fuel, seed, fertilizer as needed. No planting, no food! Turkey season opened today, the bass are hitting in our pond, and it’s about time to get into the bees and sort things out. No rest for the wicked!

So you are a Brother Mason, also. All Masonic lodges and functions in NV are close til sometime in April. Kind of a forced stand down for those of us who are quite active in Lodge. I'm a PM and Trustee (Douglas 12 in Genoa, NV) and do most of the maintenance work in and around my lodge. What lodge do you attend? We have several transplanted Texans in our lodge.

In Illinois, our MWGM has ordered all Lodges closed until May 1. Grand Lodge office staff is working from home.

I work for a large diesel engine manufacture and am a Sales Manager to the US military and foreign allies (armored combat vehicles). We were split into two work teams a week ago so that only half the personnel would be working together each week while the other team worked from home. Factory ops are still running full on. I am on the team to work at home this coming week.

I also own a business that employs 22 people. The government directive to close schools, businesses, etc hit us as if the light switcfh on business we off via a light switch. Though we didn't close, our business dropped 75% in 3 days. By the end of the week our business was a trickle. Yesterday I issued notice to all the staff that they all are on indefinite furlough, effective tomorrow. My plan and hope is to bring them back as soon as the lock down is lifted - after which our business will rebound quickly. Until then I wanted them to begin collecting unemployment insurance ASAP.

In the mean time, we use free family labor to keep the doors open . I'll be taking shifts when not at my diesel job just to help keep the doors open. Our business will rebound very quickly. I fear many will not.

Not yet - in the middle of investigation right now, but I have respected brothers vouching for me. I go to West University 1292.

Hopefully my EA work starts after the next stated meeting.

My wife works for the NHS and I work for the MoD so we are fortunate that we are still working.
But we are still working because we have to.

We are taking all measures to prevent getting ill, even just a cough or cold will mean 14 days isolated and it will cause problems for our respective colleagues.

I will have worked all or part of every day in March bar three days when I had a complete 24 hours off.

I am off on Monday to Porton Down where they are working around the clock on a vaccine for two overtime shifts and back on my regular shifts on Tuesday finishing next Sunday morning and it will carry on every week as long as we are healthy.

If colleagues become ill or need to self isolate with family it will be an enormous problem. We are walking a tightrope to keep operational but it could go wrong quickly.

Meanwhile we keep our faces covered and hands clean as best we can and pray there is food and toilet paper in the shops when we can get there.

Just trying to be safe. Washing hands a lot more, "social distancing ", as political and media figures like to put it. I've never really liked large crowds, that's why I live in the country. Grinding all of my deer meat up for jerky sticks.

Preferred actions, Remington 700 in 308, Bushmaster in 223, and Glock in multiple calibers. ONLY, if people who weren't prepared get really, really stupid!

Hunkered in for the last three days, splitting a previously cut load of wood and heading out for another load tomorrow. Freezers full of venison & fish. Trout season coming up. I'll be out there with the Rooster Tails. I guess this is as close as we'll get to the zombie apocalypse.

Wife and I are drinking "quarantinis" and about to cook a flatiron steak. Listening to the rain, texting the kids and searching Prime video. We'll have to see what tomorrow brings and what God has in store for us.

I'm kinda stuck in the middle of it. I work in the busiest grocery store in western colorado. About 1,400 customers a day currently.
Wash hands several times per hour, try and follow guidelines.
Not supposed to get within 6ft of other employees or customers but it's rather difficult.
They're talking law enforcement help to limit customers to 50 max in the store due to customers complaints about so many people.
Of course if people would shop alone instead of bringing the whole family it would really help.

the more people you bring with you the more the jerks can HORDE.

Right now, not much different. I have been tasked to help clear out the local jail. I am hopeful that this will be all over soon enough. I understand the numbers are going to climb as more folks are tested, but not sure what are the real numbers.

Personally, I don’t think crashing the economy and self quarantine is the way to go. The world is too mobile and once it’s here it’s here.

I had a guided spring bear hunt set up. Cancelled. If l can, going DIY this year.
Also had a group Pdog shoot lined up, cancelled.
Have a Caribou hunt in Alaska scheduled for September, hopefully that will happen.
In the mean time, working around the place here, live on a horse boarding stable.
Also have a small business that l run out of the shop here. So there is plenty to do every day

I work in the home AV industry, and we are staying open for now. Trying to keep clients systems running solid while they spend more time at home.

Otherwise, I've mostly been going through and sorting gear, hitting the reloading and fly-tying benches, and trying to lay low. Enough meat in the freezer and groceries in the pantry to keep rolling should things shut down any further.

Was working 3rd shift for Cessna here in Wichita, now we're on a minimum 4 week furlough which has the option to be indefinite.
We'd already stocked up at the beginning of the month before the panic hit, so we're good on supplies for quite a while.
The time off gives me time with the kids and a chance to get stuff done that the wife's been bitching about for the past several years.
I also plan on getting my new HF antenna set up that I've been putting off for several months because up until this month I was working 6-7 days a week.

Closed our office to visitors/customers this week. We were starting to see bored families coming by to look around, couldn't stand the risk. All the doorknobs have been sanitized so many times the finish is shiny! Contractors still working, as most of them work in separate houses without contact. As long as supplies can still arrive, we can work for months unless a contractor falls ill. Mostly miss seeing my grandkids, the rest of the world not so much
