Experience Africa With Limcroma Safaris

Mr. Ken's Cape buffalo hunt with Limcroma

Here is a short clip of a successful Cape buffalo hunt with one of our repeat clients we affectionately refer to as "Uncle Ken". Uncle Ken did not feel he was up to the physical challenge of potentially crawling around through the brush and thorns for a week, so he opted to hunt his buffalo from a hide which we were happy to oblige.... Uncle Ken made a very good, slightly quartering-to, shot that resulted in another great old bull in the salt with a bow and arrow. Congrats Uncle Ken!

Hendershot Family Safari with Limcroma Safaris

Our good friends and long-time clients, the Hendershot's, joined us once again for another fantastic family adventure this past season. Please enjoy the full-length version of their safari with us which is another wonderful Henk Jacobs/BushBroPro production.

We are very pleased to share that Matrix has successfully put his Cape buffalo in the salt after 6 hard days of hunting.... And, what a spectacular bull it is! I do not want to steal his thunder, so I will let Mr. Terry (aka Matrix) share his full report and story upon his return. Here is a short clip of the celebration!

Picture Perfect Kudu Hunt

It's always great when a plan comes together and things work out as hoped... This was one of those hunts guided by Riann Jacobs and one of his repeat clients who was seeking a really good mature kudu bull that had eluded him on previous safaris. The wind was right, the weather was perfect, and the bulls were on their feet.

This hunt took place in the Waterberg mountains on one of our big kudu properties. It's challenging terrain to hunt and it's an even greater challenge to pack an animal out once he is down. There are no roads up there. As you can see, the Limcroma crew was up to the task at hand. Nothing was left on the mountain. Every piece of this kudu bull was packed out including the internal organs. Africa is a hungry place and nothing goes to waste.

Congrats to Mr. Smith and Riaan on a great bull!

Looks like a new face in the kitchen? Does Limcroma have a new Chef?

On a side note, anyone considering a safari needs to book with Limcroma. The Els Family are the best, and the outfit they own is a first class operation all the way. We had high expectations going in, and even our expectations were blown away by the accommodations, the food, and the service. These are some of the nicest folks you will ever meet and we have never hunted anywhere before where they constantly went out of their way to make you feel special and appreciated. Their stellar reputation in is well deserved.

Oh, and the hunting is pretty exceptional as well!

I will be sure to save a few for you @MMAL. Too bad we are not staying long enough for our hunts to overlap. It would be fun to chat (in real life) from someone from AH! I've been over a couple of times, but I'm really looking forward to the experience with Limcroma!

Limcroma Safaris 2018 season highlights

We have enjoyed a very active and rewarding hunting season so far at Limcroma Safaris. It's always a pleasure hosting new first-time safari guests, introducing them to Africa, and getting to watch them take their first African animal... It goes without saying that spending time with repeat clients is like visiting with family for us.

As much as we like to show off our guests' trophy photos, we are most proud to show you photos of special memories made on safari. We will do our best to update this post periodically to share those special occasions with you. Thanks for looking! More to come!

Steve & Tim's incredible adventure with Limcroma Safaris

Here is yet another awesome full-length HD video courtesy of Bush Bro productions. We invite you to view and share along on a great family safari with Mr. Steve and Mr. Tim as they pursue Cape buffalo and a host of other trophy plainsgame animals. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Steve and Mr. Tim for allowing us to share their safari with the forum.

I personally recommend this video not only because of the quality production value, but because it contains lots of footage that I feel best depicts the day-to-day experiences of what it is really like on safari with Limcroma. If you feel this is something you are looking for in your next African safari, give Dan or Hannes a shout.... Enjoy!

At the end of each hunting season we appreciate the opportunity to relax and spend some time with our friends and families. However, there is never any real "off-season" in the safari business...The repairs, updates, and improvements never stop. The Limcroma staff received their updated first aid training at the end of the season to keep their status as certified first aid providers. Limcroma has highly trained and experienced staff in all aspects of their duties.

We are still enjoying our annual visit to North America and we will be in the States until March. It has been our sincere pleasure visiting with old friends and making new ones at these shows and events. We are already looking forward to the 2019-20 seasons with more to offer our guests than ever. Please enjoy this short promotional video and see if this is the type of experience that you would like to have on your next African adventure!
