Has the standing rear leaf even been regulated (i.e., with the front-sight blade)? And if so, at what distance? 65yds? 100yds?The iron sights have not been touched from the looks of it
I don't think it has been but have not fired the gun open sights so I do you know for sureHas the standing rear leaf even been regulated (i.e., with the front-sight blade)? And if so, at what distance? 65yds? 100yds?
What’s the unloaded weight of the gun without scope, mount, or rings?I don't think it has been but have not fired the gun open sights so I do you know for sure
I have only saw bolt rifles made by Clayton Nelson, maybe others could answer ?Is this the same fellow who made some very big caliber falling blocks?
You have a beautiful rifle. But that target indicates the front-sight’s height - in relation to the notch of the fixed leaf on the quarter-rib - was never properly regulated before sale. I’m not sure you’d even be on paper at 50-yds.View attachment 673400
After a few questions about the sight, I was curious how close they are. 1 shot today at about 25 yards, will need some adjustment if you are interested in shooting open sights.
