Lovely trophies..... lovely memories. Thanks

That Chamois is an astounding trophy.

What a nice and old Chamois indeed!

Just found this thread after browsing the site for nearly a year now.

I´m a german hunter as well and I hope everyone had a good season so far. Mine is going pretty good, therefore I want to show you some good roebucks I got this season:

Got this one straight on opening day morning. Older than I thought on first sight.

A few days later. One of my best ones so far.

The oldest buck this season. Shot out of my Summit Titan treestand at a spot where hardly anyone hunted for the last decade.

Very nice roebucks!

Congratulations! And welcome to the forum!

Very nice bucks! Love the look of your woods.

Thanks everybody!

@Mort Hill: The beech leaves have turned into a darker green meanwhile, that was just the typical light forage colour in may when the roebuck season starts.

The leaves are starting to get their autumn coloration. Same do the roedeer. This mornings outing didn´t produce, but right now I am more focused on red deer, as the roar is in its prime right now. The woods are all alive with roaring and searching stags. I am mainly on the lookout for a big and old stag for customers, but anyway I will take a young or bad developed stag if the opportunity presents.

I got this one in the last week of august. He is a four year old stag and a typical example of a prime management specimen.

I may also try for a young hind if I can find one far away from the rutting places, because my freezer is already getting empty again. I bagged this spiker in may, but as my parents got one half of it it´s almost eaten by now.

Your woods look a bit like mine, so thick a shot over 75 yards is impossible. ;)

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
