In memoriam - Pieter Erasmus from Pawprint Safaris passed away

My condolences to the family and you @CAustin for the loss of your friend. You must have many great memories of him replaying in your mind. You are fortunate to have had those experiences. Very sad news indeed.

Although I feel sorry for Pieter's children, I will always remember Pieter for how he lived.

So true Art. Pieter had a very happy go lucky approach to life. In the years that I have known him he seemed to go for the gusto in life, as they say. I for one will treasure having known him.

I did not meet Pieter but I do know from reading hunt reports that he was well respected by the people that hunted with him and his outfit.
Kind regards to family and friends.

I'm sorry to hear this. Condolences to his family and friends. My first wife died of ovarian cancer when she was 50. It's a terrible disease.

Sad news Charlie. If you communicate with his family please tell them those of us that had known him are praying for their comfort. Rest in peace Pieter.

Condolences to his family and all his friends around the World. I only met him once in person and enjoyed the visit. He definitely made an impact here and in the South African hunting industry the few years he was around. He will be missed by many.

Tuff news about Pieter, though I never had the chance to meet him he was my number two pick to hunt with for my first trip to S.A. May he Rest In Peace.
