KMG Hunting Safaris 2024 Season Photos

Sensational Lechwe. Took 3 full days to finally connect on this male after numerous animals were just not what we were looking for. Finally came together. Giving up is simply not an option.

Fallow Deer arrived in the Eastern Cape with the British during the 1800's. Originally, they were kept on the ships for food, but were released upon reaching our shores. Over the last 200 years, they have spread wide across the Eastern Cape, and can be hunted in quite a few free range areas. They might not be an African animal, but we love having them here.

@KMG Hunting Safaris, if a fella came to hunt in June or July, how many bushbuck would be available on quota? I think I’d want to spend a whole safari just trying to hunt bushbuck. Y’all kill some tremendous bushbuck.

We are pretty much fully booked for June and July of 2025, but to answer your question, we would probably limit it to 2 rams. I know this is not what you mean, but we are not here to kill every big ram out there. We look after the areas, spread the pressure and I believe the fruits of the labour is there for all to see.
Appreciate your question and thank you for the kind words.

@KMG Hunting Safaris, Agreed, my question was a bit of tongue in cheek. Just another way to compliment your management strategy and the quality of animals your hunters are able to take. I’m sure a person could hunt hard an entire safari and never get a crack at a bushbuck like some of your hunters are taking. That’s the nature and benefit of hunting older animals in free range areas.

Absolutely. Things would really need to fall into place to shoot more than 2 rams over a 7 day safari in anyways. They stand under every bush... :)

What an incredible Nyala bull. Our hunter had taken a Nyala before but informed us that if he saw a monster, he would certainly be interested. After seeing this bull in a valley the previous day, they just could not make it happen with the bull disappearing into the thickets. Plans were made to try and glass the same valley the following day. This time, everything lined up on this magnificent animal.

After successfully hunting this beautiful Sable, our hunter took a liking after seeing a few Roans. A couple of days later, we managed to find this Roan well past his prime. Noticed the regression in the body on this old bull.

Proper old warrior of a Bushbuck ram. When they develop that roman nose, thick neck and almost sunken eyes, you know you have something special.

Please bear with us as we try to catch up with how the rest of the season went. Some challenging hunting in the snow with freezing conditions. When you focus on age, the rest will take care of itself.
~Eastern Cape~
We are now open for 2026 bookings.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
